What is a doula?
As a doula I am able to concentrate on you during labor and delivery. I am there to help make you comfortable, try different positions, and help enforce your birth plan.
Do I really need a doula?
Every woman deserves a doula. By having me present during your labor and delivery I can be the extra hands and a reassuring presence beside you the whole way.
Is a doula the same thing as a midwife or doctor?
As a doula I provide non-medical support. I do not do exams, vital signs, nor catching the baby.
